Throughout the web site we refer to the BSP
fittings as being 1/2", 3/4" or 1", or 15mm, 20mm or 25mm however, while this is
commonly how these fittings are described, it is not strictly
accurate. BSP fittings are named after the nominal internal diameter
of the pipe and not the actual fitting size. A 1" BSPT nipple has an
outside diameter of 32.86mm, you measure the thread on the first full thread
from the end of the fitting. Below is the chart for the common sizes
of BSP fittings that we sell.
